Job description

We are looking for a hardworking Floor Technician to join our cleaning team. While we are willing to provide training to the right candidate, you should have janitorial experience and familiarity with various cleaning products, techniques, and equipment. The duties of this job include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing the floor surfaces of commercial buildings. , You may have to move furniture for floor access or be asked to perform other light cleaning tasks.

Responsibility

• Sweep and mop floors
• Assist with striping, buffing, and waxing surfaces
• Clean or shampoo carpets
• Perform light window and wall cleaning duties
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Follow workplace safety standards.
• Perform and document routine inspections of quality
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Stock and maintain supply rooms
• Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

• Proven working experience as a janitor
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
• Integrity and ability to work independently
• High school degree
• Morning availability
• Weekend availability
